A visit to the Isle of Mull is not complete without a visit to the Mishnish in Tobermory which first opened it’s doors in 1869.
The hotel offers 12 comfortable bedrooms mostly with en-suite facilities and beautiful harbour views.
Our Mishdish restaurant offers locally caught seafood as well as some other fantastic options.
The Mish Bar is one of the few iconic bars left in Scotland and is known all over the world by visitors to the island, sailors, musicians and rally drivers!
Although recently refurbished, the bar remains traditional with lots of old memorabilia from shipwrecks and the town itself and had maintained it’s great friendly atmosphere. You can expect a great range of tradition homecooked bar meals.
Note the inscriptions in Gaelic, a language that is still spoken in the Outer Hebrides and by some of Mull’s senior population.
Live music is a regular feature at the Mishnish with bands performing regularly throughout the summer as well as monthly during winter. Our infamous ‘Mish Sounds’ can be heard after food service with the sound up several notches on busy nights. Musicians appear in the bar to entertain us with the occasional impromptu jamming sessions. The Mishnish, along with the other pubs and hotels, play host to the Isle of Mull Music Festival, Mull Rally, Mull Highland Games and West Highland Yachting Week – not to be missed!
